firefighter here, 12 years. ive seen way too many houses go up from something starting in the panel overnight when everyones asleep. it stays with you. anyway i ended up buying a bunch of these, one for every panel in the house plus some for my parents and my sister. if it stops even one fire before it gets going then worth it. kinda wish theyd had these back when i started

Got this for my parents place. House is from the 70s and that panel has never been touched, honestly it worries me more than they do lol. Stuck it in there myself last weekend when i visited, took maybe 2 min. They dont have to do anything with it which is the whole point, my dad would never maintain anything anyway
