The product is well-built and easy to operate, with very strong suction power. Thank God we have not needed to use it, but it gives us peace of mind to have it nearby, especially since we are older adults and the Heimlich maneuver might be difficult for us to perform.
Excellent construction and easy to operate. I keep it in the kitchen near the dinette. If anything were to happen it would be in that area of the house.
I feel more comfortable having it within emergency accessible distance in our home. Especially with how much my wife and I work. We’re rarely home at the same time. Knowing that she is at least safer if yhe unthinkable happens is a relief on me.
I ordered two and neither one worked. I was told I had to "prime" them. (there was no reference to "priming" in the instruction book) .,Asked for a full refund. I was offered 1/2 and accepted. it. It's a joke. (I never spoke to a live person! It is all AI. I'm not happy

We bought one for an older single friends birthday gift and one for our home. Everyone at the party thought it was a great gift and there was a lot of interest in it. Both boxes did come with some damage so that wasn’t ideal for a gift but the NovaCare was fine. EXCELLENT GIFT IDEA!
We looked at different options for an anti-choking device and found the NovaCare to be easy to use and the simple one button activation made more sense than something you push down (pushing the obstruction down as well) and pull up. It really gives peace of mind.
I live alone and I think this device is better suited for me to be able to do myself as opposed to the others I have seen on the market. This would also work well for treating others in an emergency choking situation.
I received the product two weeks ago. Fortunately I've never had to use it. But it does appear that it will work as promised. I think everyone, particularly people who live alone, should have one of these in their home and at a place easy to reach.
For a widowed man, you may only get one chance to remove a clogged throat. The single button makes smart sense, plus using only one hand adds to its simplicity . Reload is easy while using your body to recharge the unit again one hand. I pray I never have to use it but iam ready if needed. Thanks for development
